Self photos are one of the most popular trends in social media. Pouty lips and sultry glances are popping up all over Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. But they aren’t always flattering. If you are trying to show off a new look, out on a solo adventure or the one who is always behind the lens and never makes it into the photos, you need to know how to take a great selfie.
1. Remove the protective cover
If you keep your treasured phone safe from bumps and bruises in a protective case, you might need to remove it to capture a great shot. Cases usually have a cutaway window around the lens, but, if they are too close, the edges can cast shadows or cause the camera to misfocus.
