2. Villa Peduzzi: Italy
Built in 1903, this Italian mansion soared over Lake Como but couldn’t find anyone to live within its four walls for nearly fifty years. Today, it’s on sale for a mere five million dollars, which gets you (in addition to a swimming pool and five bedrooms) a view from the top of the Grigna massif. On a clear day, you can see all the way to the Milan cathedral.
