2. Turn Up the Heat.
Newborns are used to the much warmer climate of the womb. If you want them to be easier to position without them waking up or starting to fuss, increase the temperature of the home. Many newborn photographers prefer an indoor temperature of around 80 degrees Fahrenheit.
